Carnival Panorama Handicap Accessible Rooms

The bed was at an appropriate height for transfer from a wheelchair if needed, and there was a clear space under the bed for storage of a wheelchair or in my case crutches when not in use. The room also had visual and auditory aids, such as a doorbell and phone with flashing lights, for guests with visual or hearing impairments.

One of the things that impressed me the most about the Carnival Panorama was the attention to detail in making the entire ship accessible for passengers with disabilities. The public areas of the ship, including the restaurants, theaters, and entertainment venues, were designed with wide doorways, ramps, and elevators, makes it easy to move around independently. There were also ample seating options, including designated accessible seating areas, in various locations throughout the ship, ensuring that everyone could enjoy the onboard activities and entertainment comfortably.

The buffet restaurants  had accessible counters and tables, and the crew members were always available to assist with getting food and drinks if needed. Additionally, Carnival offered in-room dining service, allowing you to enjoy a meal in the comfort of my accessible stateroom whenever wanted.

Apart from the onboard accommodations, Carnival Panorama also offered accessible shore excursions at the ports of call. The cruise line partners with local tour operators to provide tours and activities that were suitable for passengers with disabilities. These tours are designed with accessibility in mind, offering accessible transportation, facilities, and attractions.
