Whether you’re looking for the quaint family farm that brings you up close and personal to the daily operations of the family farm or the one of the largest corn mazes around or something in between, whether you’re a local or someone visiting San Francisco and Northern California, here’s a guide to some of our favorites.
Petaluma Pumpkin Patch & A’Mazing Corn Maze
The granddaddy of all corn mazes, the Petaluma Pumpkin Patch and A’Mazing Corn Maze has been a Northern California staple since 1993. Boasting more than five acres of homegrown pumpkins, squash, and gourds with so many varieties there’s something for everyone. But the thing that keeps families coming back from year to year, including our own is the four-acre corn maze. Surrounded by ten-foot corn stalks and with only one exit, Sonoma County’s original can take up 45 minutes to complete. On Fridays and Saturdays, take a flashlight to try the maze at night and for those younger children in your life, there’s a mini corn maze just their size.
