The 2017 Disney Social Media Moms Celebration!
It’s the most magical of pixie-dusted emails to ever hit your inbox -the invitations to the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration. I can say with all my heart that any time you see in the message line “Disney would like to invite you…” to any of the Disney events, be it for Disney Social Moms Celebration or for a media trip, the shock, thrill and utter shock and amazement never goes away.
You momentarily find yourself not being able to breathe or say a word, then you scream and cry, then you jump up and down and want to shout it to the world but this one truly stopped me dead in my tracks and it was like a moment suspended in time. To say it was totally and completely unexpected would be an understatement as I have been so incredibly lucky to have attended several of these life changing events in the past so although I knew all about it, and dreamed of what those going would be experiencing it just never, ever crossed my mind that one of these most magical of all invitations would have my name on it.
And to have part of it taking place onboard the Disney Wonder-I am still pinching myself-and knee deep in door magnets and Fish Extenders and everything else that goes with taking a Disney Cruise. My last trip on the Disney Cruise Line was back in 1986 when it was still known as The Big Red Boat and I have been dreaming of sailing away with them again ever since. I do not know how they always mange to know, but part of the Disney magic is that this golden ticket and grand daddy of all invites always seems to find their way to my inbox at the exact moment I need to find them. 
So just what is the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration?
The Magic Is Endless!
…as well as a Family Pizza Party & Star Wars Galactic Spectacular Viewing & Dessert, Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
The Celebration includes incredible opportunities to meet, mingle and network with fellow influencers from around the country, be inspired by industry leaders, and participate in family events sprinkled with Disney magic. During week, there are dedicated events just for conference attendees as well as fun family events for all registered conference guests.
The Disney Social Media Moms Celebration continues to be one of the most prestigious conferences and one of the few family-friendly events for social media influencers and opinion leaders. This year’s host hotel will be Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside. From stately white-column mansions to quaint backwoods cottages of the Bayou, delight in a picturesque setting that evokes the romance of rural Louisiana. 
To say I am excited, thrilled, honored, overwhelmed and so incredibly humbled to be selected for this most magical of conferences with my first one being at the Happiest Place On Earth, the Disneyland Resort in 2014, and then again at the Walt Disney World Resort last Mother’s Day as well as being a part of the Disney On the Road Events over the past few years would be the understatement . The Disney Social Media Moms Celebration has quickly become one of the premier events of its kind and one of the only family-friendly conferences for social media influencers and opinion leaders.
To be able to be among media-savvy parents and have the chance to learn, network, get inspired, and share inspirations –as well as spend some quality family time together-that is the true meaning of Disney magic at its very best. It also gives me that unique opportunity to finally come together with so many of the incredible friends I have made thanks to this world known as social media and finally meet them in person or be reunited with those I haven’t seen in much too long.

Like everything Disney does, we know that this will be a once in a lifetime experience for each and every one of us starting with many surprises along the way. Over the years, these events have afforded me the opportunity to give my children and grandchildren a lifetime of memories that they will hold in their hearts for many years to come, could there possibly be any better legacy for a mother to hand down to her children and her children’s children?
