Be Inspired-DIsney’s Star Darlings “Wish Now” Is Here!

Get ready to show every girl that within them lies an unimaginable strength, determination and unique talents as Walt Disney Records brings to life “Wish Now”, the first digital single from the original property “Star Darlings.” Conveying positive, uplifting and inspirational themes, the “Wish Now” single was written by Andy Dodd (Miley Cyrus, Lucy Hale, Demi Lovato), Melissa Peirce (Carrie Underwood, Reba McEntire), Shana Muldoon Zappa and Ahmet Zappa. A second track will be released in January and will be followed by a 5-song EP in Spring 2016.

“Star Darlings” features 12 female characters who “embody the qualities and characteristics of today’s tweens, and have been created to resonate with the audience through a multiplatform lifestyle experience tailored just for them. The “Star Darlings” concept was created by designer Shana Muldoon Zappa and her husband, Ahmet Zappa, son of late musician Frank Zappa, and was inspired by their daughter. “Our intention with Star Darlings has always been to empower every girl – no matter where she was born or what she looks like – to understand that she has what it takes within, to make her own wishes come true…through the unstoppable energy created by positive thinking, taking action and believing in yourself,” the Zappas said. Just like real girls, each Star Darling has her own wish that she pursues with full force and determination—and the help of her friends.
