Newsies Free Disney Exercise Workouts Without Ever Leaving Home

There’s no better way to have some fun with the family, especially during this time of distance learning, and homeschooling than shaking the sillies out and showing now more than ever is the time to get up and move and these free Disney exercise workouts will help you do that and so much more.

Zumba

1. “Friend Like Me” From ‘Aladdin’

If your wish is to work out in the comforts of your home, there’s no need to call the Genie. With a Zumba routine like this, your wish is granted. This routine set to the version of “Friend Like Me” from the live-action Aladdin is full of dance moves that are both high energy and fun.

2. “Try Everything” From ‘Zootopia’

If Shakira’s halftime performance at the 2020 Super Bowl inspired you to get up and dance, this is the perfect routine for you. Not only will this Zumba workout have you moving to the beat, but singing along, too. “Try Everything” from the movie Zootopia is such a jam and it will probably be stuck in your head for the rest of the day.

3. “You’re Welcome” From ‘Moana’

Dance along to this workout routine set to the song “You’re Welcome” from Moana. This routine also starts off a little slow and then picks up when the music does, so it’s great for when you want to ease into your workout.

4. “We Know The Way” From ‘Moana’

Moana has so many great songs that it only makes sense a lot of Zumba tutorials feature them. This particular routine set to the song “We Know The Way” was recorded in Hawaii, so it really pays homage to the film. This routine is a pre-cool down, so it’s a perfect option to begin wrapping up your workout.

5. Disney Medley Cool Down

If you’re looking for a Disney cool down, this might be the one for you. It features a medley of songs you love like “A Whole New World” and “Under the Sea.”

6. “I Just Can’t Wait To Be King” From ‘The Lion King’

If you really want to pick up the pace, this routine set to “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King” is super high energy. Don’t stress if you can’t pick up all the moves right away, because each move is repeated a few times. By the end of the routine, you might feel like you’re ready for Broadway (or at least ready to record a TikTok dance video).

7. “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” From ‘Mary Poppins’

It may be hard to spell “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious,” but this routine set to the song from Mary Poppins is a lot easier to handle. This one spotlights a ton of footwork, so it’s great for when you want to focus on your legs.

8. “Carrying The Banner” From ‘Newsies’

If you haven’t watched the original Newsies starring Christian Bale, you need to pause what you’re doing and watch it right now on Disney+. The movie is full of great dancing, and now you can pretend you’re a newsie by dancing to this Zumba workout featuring the song “Carrying the Banner.”

9. “Let It Go” From ‘Frozen’

It’s almost impossible to not sing when “Let It Go” from Frozen comes on. Sing it loud and proud as you stretch or cool down to this routine.

10. “How Far I’ll Go” From ‘Moana’

Don’t underestimate the importance of a good stretch before you work out. If you need a little direction, this Zumba stretch to “How Far I’ll Go” from Moana is great to follow along to. Plus, it’s filmed at the beach, so you can gaze at the water while you sing and dance along.

Treadmill & Walking Series

If you’ve always dreamed of taking a morning jog through Epcot or Disneyland, now you can. It’s as simple as setting up your computer or phone so you can focus on the screen as you start running on the treadmill. If you need to, you can adjust the playback speed on YouTube to go as fast or slow as you’d like. It really is that simple, and soon enough, your daily workouts can take you to a whole new world.

1. Magic Kingdom

Start on Main Street in Magic Kingdom, and make your way through all the lands by streaming this walkthrough video. You’ll virtually jog past some of your favorite rides. The best part is you’ll finish your workout with the best view of Cinderella Castle.

2. Disney’s BoardWalk Resort

Disney’s BoardWalk Resort is one of the best places to go for a jog at Disney World if you’re staying on property. It has a gorgeous boardwalk full of stores and restaurants. This walkthrough video makes a full loop around, so you’ll get to see other resorts like the Yacht Club Resort and Beach Club Resort as well.

3. Disneyland

Instead of flying to California to visit Disneyland, you can watch this video as you work out on the treadmill. This is set during Christmastime, so you’ll even get to see all the festive decorations throughout the park.

4. Epcot

You can run around the world in less than 40 minutes, thanks to this treadmill video for Epcot. The finish line for your entire run will be the gorgeous Spaceship Earth — aka, Epcot ball.

5. California Adventure

There’s so much to see when you run through California Adventure. You’ll see Cars Land that looks just like Radiator Springs from Cars, and then you’ll jog all the way around Pixar Pier.

6. Animal Kingdom

In this video of Animal Kingdom, you’ll journey through all the lands like DinoLand U.S.A. and Pandora — The World of Avatar. Pandora is a must-see in person, but until you can make it out to Florida, this video will certainly do the trick.

7. Hollywood Studios

If Hollywood Studios is your favorite park, now you can visit it whenever you’re going for a quick run on your treadmill. This video was uploaded before Toy Story Land and Galaxy’s Edge opened, so you won’t get to see those on your run. However, you’ll still get to catch a glimpse of some of your favorite rides like Tower of Terror and Star Tours.

8. Disney Springs

It’s not often you get to see Disney Springs at Walt Disney World without anyone around. This walkthrough video goes through the entire outdoor shopping and dining complex for you. You can either listen to the ambient sounds of Disney Springs, or turn on a Spotify playlist of all your favorite Disney songs to listen to as you run.

Now you can get up, get moving and bring the magic of Disney into your daily routines with these magic free Disney exercise workouts all that can be done right from home.
