No one works harder than teachers do. Ask any educator and they will all tell you that they teach because it is their calling, it is their passion and their “kids” are their heart. But ask any teacher and they will also tell you that it’s expensive to be a teacher.

TECHNOLOGY + ELECTRONICS

MICROSOFT: The Microsoft online store offers a variety of discounts for teachers, including free use of Microsoft Office 365.

BOSE: Enjoy up to 15% off popular products like speakers, headphones, and sound systems through the Bose Educators’ Program. Orders must be placed over the phone at 1-800-353-4207.

ADOBE: Get deep discounts on Adobe’s Creative Cloud products via their online education store. Proof of employment as an educator is required.

T-MOBILE: While many cell phone and internet providers offer educator discounts, T-Mobile’s program is one of the most straightforward and easiest to redeem, offering $100 off on a new tablet or smartphone. Verizon, and Sprint and AT&T all offer similar programs. Restrictions do apply, so contact your provider to confirm eligibility.

TRAVEL

ALAMO CAR RENTAL: If you are a member of the NEA (National Education Association), you can receive special offers from Alamo, including discounts, unlimited mileage, and roadside assistance.

ENTERPRISE RENT-A-CAR: NEA members also have access to discounts on everyday low rates at participating Enterprise locations. Confirm eligibility and offers with your preferred Enterprise location directly.

MARRIOTT: Many Marriott hotels offer exclusive discounts for federal, state, county, and local government employees. Teachers may be able to qualify for these discounts, depending on their district and local area government. Be sure to contact the Marriott hotel of your choice directly to confirm eligibility.

STA TRAVEL: Enjoy a variety of teacher discounts on tours, flights, rental cars, and more. STA Travel also offers the International Teacher Identity Card (ITIC), which gives teachers thousands of travel, online and lifestyle discounts at home and in over 133 countries worldwide.

NATIONAL PARK SERVICE: Show a valid school ID to receive 15% off park purchases. This is not valid for park entry fees or camping fees.

Did you know: many local museums, restaurants, and stores will offer discounts for teachers with a valid educator ID, so always be sure to ask!
