Disney’s Tomorrowland Movie Event Begins #TomorrowlandEvent

Way back in October of 1955, I first entered a place, a magical place where nothing was impossible. A place where anything you could imagine was built, a place where you actually felt that you could change the world. The place-Tomorrowland at Disneyland® in Anaheim California. Over the years, Tomorrowland has always been the land that we ran to, not walked to. It is the place where the outside world ceases to exist and suddenly you find yourself surrounded by all the possibilities.
Tomorrowland has changed over the last 60 years from the Monsanto House of the Future to the Rocket to the Moon becoming Rocket to Mars to now Space Mountain but the dream remained the same- Tomorrowland is truly the vista into the modern world of wondrous ideas, a step into the future. But why take a small step when you can take a giant leap? This week, Tomorrowland and my beloved Disneyland, is proving once again that this is the place where dreams come true as I join 24 other bloggers from around the country as we come together for a very special press trip for the Tomorrowland Movie Event. Our adventure not only includes a special screening of Disney’s upcoming movie Tomorrowland but it will allow me the chance to travel back in time and revisit and relive so many of my life’s memories. In addition, I’ll be crossing an item off my Wish List as we take part in a private tour of the Walt Disney Archives surrounded by Walt and his visions and dreams. Did I mention that as part of the trip we’ll be interviewing George Clooney (Insert screams here)?
Here’s a sneak peek of our #TomorrowlandEvent itinerary:
A Screening of Disney’s Tomorrowland at the TCL Chinese Theatre
Our #TomorrowlandEvent adventure starts out with a visit to the iconic TCL Chinese Theatre which over the years has been known as both Grauman’s Chinese Theatre and Mann’s Chinese Theater located on the historic Hollywood Walk of Fame in Hollywood, California for an exclusive screening of Disney’s Tomorrowland on the first and currently only IMAX movie theater in Hollywood itself.
A Visit and Private Tour of the Walt Disney Archives
Next up, a day starts out early with a very special visit to the Walt Disney Archives for a private tour of the Walt Disney Archives to learn about Walt’s vision and the early history behind Tomorrowland
Disneyland Resort
Next it’s off to the Happiest Place on Earth-the Disneyland® Resort. While we’re there we will be treated everything from “it’s a small world” to checking out the Tomorrowland film sneak peek.
No visit to Tomorrowland would be complete without taking on “Space Mountain,” “Star Tours,” “Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters,” and the “Astro Orbitor Rockets before heading off to check out some #FrozenFun over at Disney California Adventure Park.
Don’t forget that Disneyland is about to celebrate 60 years of magic beginning May 22, 2015, make way to the Disneyland Resort Diamond Celebration, where Guests of every age can salute 60 years of Disney magic with dazzling entertainment and sparkling surprises, including 3 new nighttime spectaculars making their in-park debuts!
