Disneyland Resort Presents the 25th Anniversary CHOC “Walk In The Park”

When you hear the word Disney what do you think of? Magic, the smiles of children, family, and giving back are the first things that come to mind. Following in the ideals set forth by Walt himself, Disneyland and all that followed were never “just about” being merely an amusement park but rather being an ideal that could changes the lives of people both inside and outside of those magical gates. Whether it’s through the annual efforts of the Disney VoluntEARS, or the countless other ways Disney gives back to the community, the real magic is in the way Disney touches the lives of others.
In keeping with Walt’s vision, the Disneyland Resort has once again teamed up for this years CHOC “Walk in the Park”. The Walk, which will be held the morning of Sunday, October 11, is the largest, most unique single pediatric walk event in the nation. Among the event’s estimated 15,000 walkers are participants from the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Australia and Japan. This year’s event is all the more special as the CHOC Walk commemorates its 25th silver anniversary against the sparkling backdrop of the Disneyland Resort Diamond Celebration.
